Production Regions
Primarily produced in the Chinese provinces of Hunan, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Anhui.
Macroscopic Features
Irregular thin slices. Uneven edges, with uneven sizes, about 0.5mm thick. Some has brownish-black or grayish-brown outer skin. Fractured surface is yellowish-white or grayish-brown, vascular bundles are spotted and scattered. Loose texture, with slight flexibility. faint odor; acrid and slightly bitter taste.
