Smithsonite|Calamine

Primarily produced in the Chinese provinces of Sichuan, Guangxi, Hunan.

Lump-like aggregate; irregular lumps, grayish-white or pale red. Externally powdery, not lustrous, uneven, porous, similar to a honeycomb. Light texture, easily broken, faint odor, slightly astringent taste.

Superior medicinal material is loose, light, white.

Sweet, neutral

Resolves toxin, brighten eyes, eliminates eye screen, astringes dampness, stops itching, astringes sore. Apply to eye screen and swelling pain, blepharitis cililiaris, nebula, sore not closing, excessive pus, damp sore, skin itching.
