Macroscopic FeaturesFlat spherical, 0.5~1cm tall, 0.6~2cm diameter. Externally milky-white or pale yellowish-white, outer layer has two scales, fat and thick, even sized or embraced by one larger scale, apex slightly flat or indented, often cracked open, center scale is small. Firm and brittle texture, fractured surface is powdery. faint odor; bitter taste.
