Macroscopic FeaturesElliptical, occasionally sub-spherical shape, long diameter is 5~7mm, short diameter is 4~5mm, externally red, hilum is white oval, located at one end of ventral side, surrounding is black, about 1/4-1/3 area of surface, raphe is located at one end of hilum, slightly raised straight line. Seed coat is hard, hard to break, 2 cotyledons and radicle inside, all pale yellow, grass-like odor, astringent taste.
