Chinese Rose Flower

Primarily produced in the Chinese provinces of Hubei, Jiangsu, Hebei, Shandong.

Flower is sub-spherical, 1.5~2.5cm in diameter. Receptacle is long round, 5 sepals, dark green, pointed tip, petals overlap each other, some scattered, long round, purplish-red or pale purplish-red; numerous stamens, yellow. Light in weight, brittle texture. Clear aromatic odor, tasteless and slightly bitter taste.

Superior medicinal material is intact, purplish-red, half-opened, with potent aroma.

Sweet, warm.

Invigorates blood, regulates menstruation. Apply to irregular menstruation, dysmenorrheal.
