Fluorite

Primarily produced in the Chinese provinces of Gansu, Shanxi, Zhejiang, Jiangsu.

Lump-like or granular aggregate, irregular lumps, with ridges. Purple or green, uneven depth, streak mark is white. Translucent to transparent, glass-like luster. Externally uneven, often has cracked lines. Firm and brittle texture, easily crushed. faint odor, tasteless.

Superior medicinal material has purple color, firm texture, with glass-like luster without foreign matter.

Sweet, warm

Calms heart, calms spirit, downbears counterflow, warms uterus. Apply to strained deficiency and fright, cough with dyspnea, deficiency and cold of blood and sterility.
