Macroscopic Features

Sub-spherical, often broken into pieces. Externally has brownish-red endocarps, one end is yellowish-white and occupies about 1/3 of the whole kernel, with indented spotted hilum scar, after removing endocarp, appears white. Relatively hard texture, fractured surface is white, powdery. faint odor, tasteless.
