Primarily produced in the Chinese provinces of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hunan, Sichuan.
Macroscopic Features
Long strip-like grooved shape, left and right sides rolled inward, rolled edge is half-tube-like, center of the groove is long, twisted and flaky, tube-like or groove-like with both sides rolled inward, uneven length and width, 0.1~0.5cm thick. Outer surface is pale yellowish-white or grayish-yellow, smooth, with thin longitudinal lines, with longitudinal crack, expanded fibers. Light and pliable texture, difficult to break, can be easily torn longitudinally, with white powder when tearing; faint odor, slightly sweet taste.
